Petaluma is a generous town all year-round. But as Thanksgiving approaches, many in the community are motivated to donate a little extra to those in need.
Here are a few local non-profits collecting food and monetary donations for Thanksgiving.

Petaluma Salvation Army is collecting food and donations at 721 S. McDowell Blvd Monday – Friday from 9am to noon.
Committee on the Shelterless (COTS) is collecting food and donations at the Mary Isaak Center at 900 Hopper Street Monday – Friday from 7 am to 2pm.
The North Bay Association of Realtors is sponsoring a food drive benefiting Petaluma People Services Center, Meals on Wheels, Petaluma Senior Center and PEP Housing. Call Lori at (707) 769-7116 for a needs list or to donate cash.
